As a teacher and mother of L.D. children, one of the best suggestions is to teach your child how to work and continue working through difficulty. Work side by side with your young child. Put the laundry away together. Straighten the playroom together. Sit down at the kitchen table together, you with your bookwork, them with their workbooks.. Model work and tenacity.
